Information Regarding Tanglin Arts Studio Placement Class
Registration will begin at 9:30am
10:00-11:00 – Ballet
11:15-12:00 – Jazz/Hip Hop
Ages 13+
Registration will begin at 12:30pm
1:00-2:00 – Ballet
2:00-2:30 – Pointe
2:45-3:30 – Jazz/Hip Hop
Please arrive in a black leotard and pink tights for ballet with
your hair secured in a bun. You will have 15 minutes between
ballet and jazz if you wish to change, but no bulky shirts or pants
will be permitted. If you are interested in auditioning for
only ballet, or only jazz, you do not have to attend the entire
audition, but please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled time in
order to register. We will start promptly, so do not be late!
This class is not the final determinant for Nutcracker parts but it
does help us to consider which parts will suit which students.
So, that said, please come and try your very hardest. Come on
time! Do not forget ANYTHING – bring shoes, toe pads,
leotards, tights etc.
