Classes for teens
Moving around can be tough especially moving to a foreign country.
Extra curricular activities can help with the move. At Tanglin
Arts Studio, we strive to show respect for all dance methods and
styles. The teaching staff at Tanglin Arts Studio has
familiarity in the following styles -
ballet,
pointe,
jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary, modern, musical
theatre/Broadway & acrobatics. Method
familiarity includes Vaganova, Cechetti, Royal Academy of Dance
(RAD), Imperial Society of Teaching Dance (ISTD), American
Academy of Ballet,
CSTD
(Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance),
ATOD (Australian Teachers of Dancing) and Balanchine to name a few....
Tanglin Arts Studio promotes confidence and self-discipline....while
creating dancers. It is our hope that our dancers go on to
receive scholarships and potentially pursue
professional dance
careers, however we welcome all levels and intentions...
We encourage our older and more experienced dancers to join our company. Company auditions were a huge success! Thank you!
Placement of students in classes is based on ability and age.
